One, Two, Many: Exploring relationships between the unique, the reproduced and rabbits.

Picture
One. Porcelain rabbit found on Trademe. Artist unknown
Picture
Two. A2 Size Digital Print of cast rabbits and The Auckland War Memorial Museum.
Picture
Many. Cast glass rabbits and mirror
These 3 works were presented together as an installation at The Sarjeant Gallery, Wanganui in response to the brief set for the exhibition Looking Glass: Reflecting ideas. They explore some ideas around the reproduction of objects and their relationship to the original and each other and also the objects relationship to the viewer.  One, is an object I bought off a local auction site. Two, is a digital print of the rabbits I cast from the original placed into the environment of The Museum. And Many, a kind of virtual/ viral reproduction by mirrors.
