THINKspace 2011

DOES MY BUM LOOK BIG IN THIS? Some playful explorations around the reproduced object, multiples and the gaze.

This group of experimental works explores 2 main themes; the notion of production and reproduction and the ontological space that exists between 'audience'and 'work'.
The first starts with the process of casting and extends this, the means of manufacture, to a variety of ways in which objects and images are commonly made into multiples.
The second places the Punters as inhabitants of the gallery space somewhere between that of the viewing public and the gallery objects themselves.

Mixed media: Slip cast porcelain, stickers, T shirt, wax, plaster cast, video, photography, monoprints, mirror
