These small porcelain figures (as individual pieces) are not meant to be 'works in themselves' or the kind of figurines one would find on a mantlepiece. They act more as small interventions in whatever space they find themselves. They are designed to be placed in contexts where they can start to initiate conversations about the place or things they are placed with. Their existance is located somewhere between the audience and the other art works.
